A Mac that the rest of the household also uses
The installed route makes sense where the trader has a macOS user account of their own. Charts, templates and window positions are stored under that account, the terminal opens the way it was left, and nobody else on the machine sees any of it during their own work.
Where the Mac is used by everyone under a single login, the browser route is tidier. Nothing is installed, nothing appears in the Dock for the next person, and closing the session ends access on that machine rather than leaving a program someone might open out of curiosity.
Interface language is chosen inside the platform rather than taken from macOS, which is worth knowing in a home where the computer is set to one language and the trader works in another. The system stays as the household configured it and the trading interface still reads correctly.
